Ideas (2025) was an exercise in which I challenged myself to make 100 works before a deadline of 3 months. I did not make 100 works, instead only 28. All of them are done in acrylic paint on 9X13 inch prefabricated canvases bought in bulk packs from Michaels Craft Store. Each represent a fleeting idea that I had that would usually be saved for some other project or forgotten about, but instead I decided to make them as soon as I thought of them. It left me with a wonderful assortment of paintings that create a world of hilarious gore and colorful monsters. It is very much a microcosm of my mind and my process that I hold very dearly.
